The Guess Who, even though only one original artist, rocked! They did a good job and played many of their hits. Looked like they were having fun onstage.
JJ Grey & Mofro, by the time they went on, played way fewer songs. They also did too much talking in between songs. People came to hear the hits. They also played 2 new songs. The first which was good, not to say that it was bad because it wasn't, a bit different.
Towards the end, they went to sing the Prayer and that had many in the audience around us upset. They wanted rock music. Once they jumped into the Prayer, it was beautiful. They harmonized perfectly! My husband actually came home and bought it.
But both new songs should be played towards the beginning not at the end when these hard core fans want ROCK! I felt we got more out of the Guess Who than JJ Grey & Mofro.
